At The Met, our focus is on USDA Prime Beef, the highest grade that beef can receive. Less than 2% of the beef produced in the US is certified as USDA Prime. Simply put, this is the best beef available.

The Met is honored to receive Wine Spectator’s Grand Award for the ninth consecutive year — the highest distinction in wine, held by just 99 restaurants in the world.
It’s recognition we share with rare company. In Washington, one other restaurant has earned the Grand Award: Seattle’s Canlis, now marking 30 consecutive years. We also extend our congratulations to this year’s two newest honorees — Berria Wine Bar in Madrid and Caruso’s on the Santa Barbara coast — for joining a list that spans the globe.
